Feeding, whether by breast or bottle, is the first way we connect with our babies.

“Transitioning to parenthood is a process. You need people you trust on your team. Learning to care for our babies takes many different versions of support, and I’m here to be part of your village.”
Abby’s Story
Abby earned her Master’s degree in speech language pathology from George Washington University in Washington, DC. She has experience working in inpatient and outpatient pediatric and adult settings treating speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive disorders as an SLP, and has focused her career primarily in dysphagia and feeding management with both adults and infants.
She has prior experience as an SLP in the neonatal intensive care unit and in several special care nurseries in Chicago.
Through her personal and professional experiences, she has developed into an infant feeding specialist, specifically for medically complex infants, managing the issues that can occur with prematurity and breast/bottle feeding efficiency issues including oral ties and other oral motor issues.
After experiencing her own struggles with breastfeeding her first baby, Abby pursued Tethered Oral Tissues (TOTS) certification and completed mentorship and additional training hours to sit for the board examination to be recognized as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant to further serve the community she works with. She is now partnered with The Lactation Network to serve more clients through insurance.
Outside of work, you can find Abigail strolling the Beltline or East Atlanta streets with her 3 year old son, baby girl, and adorable lab-ish mutt leading the pack. She loves painting and traveling to new countries with her husband to immerse herself in new cultures. She especially loves exploring the parks, restaurants, and coffee shops in Atlanta. She grew up in Tampa, Florida and attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate degree, and also called Chicago home for several years.
